(Throughout the day, Ill be sharing some of the responses to the #iloveyouchallenge here on my Facebook page. Each and every one of them were inspiring in their own way, so I hope you enjoy!) its 9 am here and my parents are in cali which is two hours behind. i totally woke them up to tell them #iloveyou. its one thing to just know deep down that your kids love you or that your parents miss you, but its another thing to say those words out loud. we forget to show our appreciation for one another because we either see each other too often or there is always something getting in the way of us showing each other our affection. for me, going to school and not getting to see them everyday makes me miss them and appreciate the moments we share together even more. watching #stevenlims exploration of #asianamerican #culturalissues today made me realize there is nothing wrong with a loving and caring reminder, considering how rare it is to have such interactions in our culture. please do take part in the #iloveyouchallenge, i promise this small gesture will be huge to them :) repost: -Nancy (instagram/nancy.fang)
