Throughout this entire semester, Ive been debating and going back-and-forth on what I should major/minor in for my teaching degree. I know History will be one of my subjects, but Ive been debating between English and Sociology as a potential minor/major. Professors, teachers, advisors, fellow students and friends have all provided me with advice, but their advice or opinions usually relates to: do whatever youre passionate about, you dont know what the job market will look like when you graduate or do whatever will get you a job, or make you more employable. This questions are going through my mind everyday, for a good portion of each day too. It seems like everyday Im changing my mind and I really need to make a decision soon. Picking one subject was hard enough, but picking two is seriously driving me insane.
