Throw Back Thursday - Lily Mays flashes back to 2010. I received the greatest compliment today. A customer was under the impression that my lip balm was professional produced by an outside company for Lily Mays. It pleases me to know that my product and packaging looks that professional. The fact of the matter is, I have been working on Lily Mays Lip Balm for 4 years creating the prefect formula. It all began in 2010 when I decided to create a natural balm because of my own issues with chapped lips, that a lot times, led to cold sores. I found that the commercially made chap sticks did not help and sometimes even made it worse. Over the years I have had several different formulas and personally tried each every one until I found the perfect balance for a healing and soothing lip balm. And now, cold sores... are a thing of the past for me. I am very proud of this product and I assure you... I am a part of every step of the process when making these tubes of Lip Balm... from the selection of the herbs, oils and wax down to the pouring and labeling of the tubes. Each every tube is lovingly and carefully crafted by my own hands. Check out the photos below from 2010 were I was creating my very first batch to sell.
