Throwback Thursday - AMERICAN NITRO - Our film covers Snake and Mongooses lives from 1958-1978. The 5 minutes of End Titles includes a wonderful video that takes the viewer through their lives to June, 2013. Were very thankful to Bill Kimberlin, the producer of the iconic 1977 documentary about drag racing called American Nitro for licensing us some of his extraordinary 35 mm footage of Snake and Mongooses racing from the year 1977. Not only did we get a fantastic look at Mongooses 1977 yellow corvette English Leather Funny Car and Prudhomme driving one of his amazing Army cars, but we also got to include in our film, important drag racer Jungle Jim Liberman and his famous crew member, Jungle Pam.
