Throwback Thursday - Worlds Greatest Buffet according to the Griffin children. We discovered Duffs smorgasbords throughout the South on a vacation in 1982 and kids loved it. You stood and the food passed on a belt in front of you. When the food went back in the loop to the kitchen it was restocked .. so my shy youngsters figured the BEST place for most/freshest food was right at the beginning of the loop. We did 16-day trip and did not find out about Duffs until the first Sunday (someone at a church recommended it in Tampa). We stopped at 8 different Duffs in the next two weeks before we got back home.
