Throwback Thursday! Check out this 1925 line truck used by AEP’s Philo Plant in Ohio to build the St. Albans line. The caption for the first photo reads, “Philo St. Albans line 20% grade in 10” of mud during tower construction, 1925.” At first glance, the obvious difference between the photos might appear to be a lot of elbow grease, but take a look at the back tire in both photos. Notice the spool of track near the truck cab in the second photo?
