Throwback Thursday ... Doyle helping get a little girls doggie home :) Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver were in Jackson County, Kentucky, for a photo shoot at the Triple R Ranch and Letterbox area in November 2012, when this friendly little black doggie decided to come see what all the commotion was about! Mike Rogers tried to talk the pup into going home, but it wanted to stay with the band! Doyle didnt want the little fellow getting hurt, so he got the little guy pointed in the right direction and walked behind until he was safely home. As we drove by, the little girl waved as she held her doggie in her arms, probably having no idea who helped her. And Doyle had no idea anyone was watching him instead of getting in the trucks to go to the next photo location. Its nice to know someone who tries to do the right things even when he thinks no one will know about it. You have to admire a man who will take time out of a super long day where he has 8+ hours of driving and a 3-4 hour photo shoot just to make sure a puppy gets safely home. Doyle Lawson may be a great mandolin player and singer.. but he may be an even better man :)
