Throwback Thursday! Dug this up and transferred it from some old cds. Oh MAN. Memories. Soon to be 10 years ago, a group of Tolkien fans met up in the Hyatt lobby on Sunday night of Dragon*con....with one member of KISS and some dude in a Abercrombie sweater apparently... Anyway, this was the night that Berg and I officially met. Hes the Behind-the-scenes Legolas to the right and Im the idiot elf in silver and blue, in the middle grinning from ear to ear...LOL Our friend Dustin (who will be Aragorn with us again this year...3 HUNTERS, ROLL OUT!), belted out the Black Gate speech and made the night that much more memorable. I dont think any Dragon*con since has topped that night. Nor will one ever. Were still good friends with many in this video. This is definitely a cherished memory.
