Throwback Thursday. Probably one of the oldest photos I have. This is my dad with his mom. Bertha committed suicide when my dad was 13, so I never met her. She looks so happy in this shot its hard to imagine what happened - and my dad seldom spoke of it. I have an idea but Ill keep that to myself. One good thing, I guess, about modern technology is that family histories will not be lost so easily. Theres a grave in England with Berthas name on it. I have always been meaning to find it but never have.
