Throwback Thursday Story- I moved into my farm, and I was broke. I had two packets of oatmeal, dry tea, and a bag of potato chips. I was hoping that it would last me the week. I could not ask family or friends for money, for they thought I was crazy to buy a farm as a single women. I did not want to confirm their fears. I had God, thats all I needed. I just kept praying for a miracle. At church earlier in the week, a woman who had befriended me asked if she could stop by, she had something to give me. I was curious, I wondered what it would be. She came over and sat at the kitchen island. I offered her tea, praying that she would not ask for sugar or milk- I had none. She sat drinking her black tea with a big smile on her face. We exchanged pleasantries when she said, Please do not deny me, I must give this to you. She placed on the counter an ordinary envelope. After she left, inside was $1,000.00. I was so shocked, I slumped to the floor with tears cascading down my face, I just raised my arms in total praise to God. God had given me more than I could ever want! I had been praying that God would send me a miracle. That day a miracle beyond measure came in the package of a small, sweet woman. Do you have a miracle? Did God show up at the last minute?
