Throwback Thursday (a day late) with a video from my first band Skyclad...song is about calling on the Ancestors in a time of crisis (still applicable). The Call We stand on the edge with the sword of destruction in our hands They stand world within worlds hoping something someday will make us understand its dangerous and out of hand My eyes are open and Theyre calling me with a far cry Theyre calling you too and someday you might just see them flying by We are all so vulnerable lying in our collective bliss waiting for the Armageddon or the first kiss we are sleeping but I feel the day has come to awake and see they are controlling our everyday this poor excuse we call reality feeding us the toxic waste of their minds dreaming up new ways to keep us in line but we gotta walk away walk away and be free cuz weve had enough of this diseased society I gotta break free from the chains in my mind you say you wanna be free too Cmon lets go for a ride to a distant shore Whoa whoa whoa Not too long ago I woke from a dream wasnt one Id ever seen It was all going down in the flames and we were all running but Im not running anymore I think Im gonna wake up soon cuz I hear the far cry from the horizon near the moon Can you hear the voices of those who came before and you find yourself on a distant shore blood red sky and the clouds roll through and the warning comes and Im calling you take us away from the burning ground we dont wanna see ourselves go down we got the pain and we got the time and were running running running for our lives and we hear the call of the lonely ones and we hear the call of the Holy Ones Fly High Fly High https://youtube/watch?v=m0cCpM5VUjo
