Throwback Thursday edition of my video additions to my video album: This was a curious commercial spot I bumped into on a VHS reel hat I did for a book promo of some sort - and which I found hilarious. I had to play a guy on the street in distress ... No lines to say - Its all voice over by someone else. All I have to do is my best Jimmy Olson imitation and let the caped crusader return my wallet ... This has to be among the wimpiest characters I have ever concocted ... And really - Who ARE the modern day superheroes? is the question that the spot asks at the end (certainly not anyone in Congress except people who will likely never run for top office because they arent compromised enough, or already in the pocket of some corporate overlord ... people like Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders) ... Who are YOUR modern heroes? Are there any left to look to these days?
