#ThrowbackThursday is back again and about time too. This week, we found some old plans of the park from when the fort was located on the southwest end and Camp Will-A-Way encompassed both the Nature Center and where it is today. Can you imagine what the park would be like if the proposed development plan shown here had been carried out? When you start something, youre not completely sure how it will turn out, but you hope and work that everything will turn out for the best in the end. For our high school and college students who are graduating this month, you too went through a process that you werent completely sure how it might end, but you worked hard, studying day and night. Now, your efforts have finally paid off. Youre not the same person you were when you entered school, but youve become a wiser and more accomplished individual as a result, ready to tackle the challenges of an uncertain future. From everyone at Fort Yargo State Park, we hope youll continue to grow and mature just as we have over the years. Well be looking forward to your visit and all the many graduation parties here for years to come.
