Thru all the excitement of the day there was a game. The Blue Sox Baseball Club 10U hold on and pulled ahead of the Mustangs in OCAC League play to win 15-7 on a cool Tuesday night. BSBC scored 5 runs in the first second and third. The Mustangs posted 4 in the first, 3 in the 2nd, before the BSBC pitching delivered a shutout inning. Brady Davis tossed 3 innings for the win. Offensively Drew Chiodini 2 RBI, Jack Sullivan 2 RBI and Cam Hart lead the team with two hits. Logan Stipes and Carter each had hits. Stipes a triple and a stolen base continuing his consistent play. Defensively Sullivan was nice with a half dozen blocks. The Combination of Cam Hart and Chance Weeks was the strongest three innings I have seen from a middle infield duo this season. Great job boys I watched you both work together and play great. Hart pulled off the Blue Sox Baseball Club WebGem of the night. In the 3rd inning a Derek Jeter Esq type play. Down and ready a hot one hop smash Hart gloved it displayed excellent footwork before showing off his arm hosing a rope to first for the out. Right back on the wagon at Westhoff Park Field #1 BSBC LH
