Thuli Madonsela is anti- majoritarian, and advances DA political agenda In this piece I engaging with Thuli Madonsela perspective sited on Sunday Times March 23rd, when she said “I would say for the next public protector the protection should be tighten. Even the impeachment process should be taken away from politicians and given to the judicial service commission” This is an essentially a broader confused ideological and political current that seeks to drive anti-majoritarian stunts, the Judiciary Service Commission is not the constitutional, if she says that impeachment should be taken away from the politicians, does she mean that majority won’t rule?, should powers of the national assembly should be nullified?, at whose class interest does the JSC represent?. Indeed Thuli is confused and sometimes stupid. The national assembly is the constitutional structure, which is democratically elected by the majority of the electorates. Thuli should be reminded that her political marriage between her and the Democratic Alliance leader Zille is viewed as political prostitution in opening. This is further confirmed by the fact that she addressed her in-laws Women’s Day rally in 2012, which made it extremely difficult to distinguish her and DA’s politics and the role of the public protector as a state institution and also accounts and recommends to the parliament ( National assembly), not her better half Zille or individual. While there is a numerous ideological and political tendencies and operations, of which all is nothing but oppositional in character, the opportunist and ultra-rights, that attacked and over looked the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and the Inter ministerial task team reports, political prostitution is as such distinguished because has wholly and not exclusively emerged from the Nkandla report. Not forgetting that Thuli represents a certain class, in this case the DA, it goes without saying that there were frequent media leaks of the report and she further uses media to report and to finalise the findings. She should be reminded that the office of the PP is not a private entity it reports directly to the National assembly as a relevant constituency which has full powers to appoint a PP. I have to this extend noticed that before the report was released Thuli locked the journalists for almost 3 hours to go through the report, this is nothing but an indication that negatively affected and deliberately cast aspirations of defamatory Zuma, we should be worried by this move, how can the media receive the report other than the affected party? Another indication of Thuli being pro DA and advancing DA political agenda. It is time to investigate DA involvement in the finalisation of the report and the leaking to both media and the DA. I write in my own Capacity
