Thunder is shouting at us and the graying sky is threatening to drop raindrops at any moment. Bob and friend/neighbor, Michael Palmer, took a pickup load of storage cartons from the cabin down to the conex and then started picking up all the lawn furniture, fire pits, lawn decorations, and moving wheeled items, etc., to clear the yards for the backhoe work starting noon Thursday. Cant wait to see how it all looks after leveling and removal of weed/leaf debris and stumps. After that the lawn seeding and watering. Not trying for a sculpted lawn or professional landscaping, just a nice area for the dogs in the back yard, and nice relaxing area in the front and side yards for us to picnic. Bob plans to move the cabin too, not far, about 20 and change its angle. Glad things are happening again, seemed to be at a standstill for a while. God is pushing us along so we get some exercise. Far too much TV during Bobs retirement.
