Thunderstorm in Kolkata last evening and my DSL went for a toss. Was reading all the comments in the various posts. Now this may seem cruel and insensitive and I dont really intend to change anything but in the past four matches there have been a lot of comments (me included) on that team deserved to win To quote Vin Diesel in Fast and the Furious. It doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile winnings winning. Its sad yes. I watched Brazil lose in 1998. I almost cried. They did not even make it to the Finals in 2006. I stopped supporting them in 2010 to support Germany only to watch the Germans crash out in the Semi Finals. I sulked for two weeks and pondered on the defeat for two months if not more (no kidding). Dont be disappointed. It is The Beautiful game The winner is and will be the one with the maximum number of goals, however they were scored And if the team deserving to win did not make it Then all you have to do is wait for the next world cup. Wish you long and healthy lives!
