Thur. 11/7/2013 Gift By The Same Spirit And Lord 1 Cor. 12:1-11 One thing that all Christians should bear in mind is that though there are diversities of gifts – word of wisdom, word of knowledge, working of miracles, healing, tongues and interpretation of tongues, administration, singing, teaching, etc – it is the same Holy Spirit and the same Jesus Christ that are distributing these gifts to believers. It is God who works all in all. All a believer needs to be fulfilled in God is to allow God to work in, and through, his gift to fulfil His purpose. Believers should therefore not look down on their gift but rather make use of them to bring glory to God and His church. You should know that the essence of these diversities of gifts is to bring profit to all that are in the church. Point of Emphasis: Jesus and the Spirit distribute gifts to individual as they will. Prayer Point: Lord, help me to profit the church through my gift.
