Grounded was a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe before transferring for a sold-out run to London’s Gate Theatre. It was shortlisted for the Carol Tambor Award, the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award and the Stage Awards for Acting Excellence (nomination for Lucy Ellinson as Best Solo Performer), the Evening Standard Theatre Award (nomination for Lucy Ellinson as Best Actress) and was the winner of a Fringe First Award.
