Thursday 13th March 2014:: Bath Rangers Vs Moves Like Agger::: 9-1::: Well well well boys once again we left the agger boys feeling like Elvis, all shook up, lol. With Rich absent, Jayden took responsibility, stepped into the defensive role with man of the match n captain fantastic, Jonno. Curtis had his first start for a few games n big pressure also fell on him in centre midfield, with the Blackmore brothers Bradley n Mark playing upfront.!! Question was would we start edgy without Rich, the man who been pulling the strings for so many weeks,,, would we eck.!! lol. It was all about Bath Rangers high octane attacking from the very first whistle. With a couple early n i mean real early chances going begging, it came from a wonderful team move. Curtis picked ball up on right in middle of park, rolled it back to Jay, who played a sweeping ball forward to Jon just over halfway in centre of field, he then as he does took on two players n made it look easy, rolled it past a third to Mark who was in box just to right of goalie, he swung his foot at it, it was whipping with pace just across face of goal, about to go wide of far right but Bradley, main poacher is there to send into an open goal, great team play,1-0.! Then it was big brothers turn, again Jonno doing what he does best n taking on 3 men, moves into box but gets pushed wide right, has a right footed low shot from angle, keeper saves but spills ball into air it falls left side where Mark is waiting, trys to nod it in but ends up controlling with head, jumps n it was almost a karate kick into goal, mid-air before goalie could recover,2-0.! It was Curts turn next, as i said first start for a little while, wanted to take advantage of that fact n make sure he got on score-sheet, he did n in incredible fashion, true centre mids goal, just to the right about a yard outside edge of box, defenders all round him, blocking pass, looked like they blocking route for shot too, looked a very tough situation, Curt made it look easy picked his target, let rip a bullet of a shot, grass-cutter,if u like, into far corner with right foot, stunning goal,well done,3-0.!! Then time for the goal, i call it that because it really was, THE GOAL. Jayden playing in a new unknown defensive position but dominating that position, like he played there his whole life was having a fantastic game, aswell as defending n making great decisions he was using his great wingers pace to get up n down flanks like a full back to get his peice of attacking in n help out the attackers too.!! After playing great passes with Curt,Jon n Brad all down left from defence to attack, he tried to send a left footed cross over to Mark, defender blocked it, ball rolled back to Jay, who looked up, saw defender still trying to compose himself after block so took him on, now just inside box from left hand side, about a yard n a half to two yards in from goal by-line, such a tight angle, no one not even there keeper thought he had the accuracy when he let rip a right footed shot, by time keeper realised it was going in, it had hit his hand,hit post n hit n hit net, what a angle, inswinging right foot too, wtf lol, spectacular goal,4-0.!! Then Jonno feeling a little left out was in full swing n wanted his goal, he picked ball up in midfield, took on 3 again but again got pushed wide right inside box by goalie, he tried to send a low angled right footed shot in, wasnt sure if it was goin or not, that one probably not so again the poacher pops up n even tho he was fouled as he scored Brad finished while falling from a push in back, well done bro,5-0.!! Then in a bizarre moment they pulled one back a shot in from virtually the corner flag, had Phil flapping with way it spun at last moment, hit him spun rolled in, absoloute madness, its crazy to think this great keeper hasnt a clean sheet yet this season, all because of odd bizarre,silly goals but not even that was going to shadow this brilliant performance by the Rangers, as Mark could even afford a joke by saying,what a blunder, your lucky we scored 5 u lanky txxt, lol, its all love Phil yanoo.!!?? Then in a season which has seen him turn his luck around infront of goal, find his scoring shoes n pick up his game, Mark scored his second of match, 6th of season n Baths 6th today. It was again good work through midfield by Jonno one-twos with Brad n Jay on the way, again as he arrived in box he was pushed wide right by defender n goalie, he looked up, played acute pass between the two, to Mark, who had found himself in acres of space to roll the ball into empty net,6-0.!! Then another bizarre moment of madness in this excellent game, Mark was cautioned for a foul on the edge of aggers box for sliding but the only reason he went down is because he was flew n flung onto the floor to the point of his glasses flying 5 yards away but still went for ball, never the less it worked in Baths favour when 45seconds later back in aggers box, Marks on ball, one of their defenders came sliding in at him, Mark avoided challenge, no damage but stood with hands raised making eyes with ref, penalty rightly given. Now the team have an agreement, next penalty was Phils but Mark feeling confident from earlier two n having a greedy moment placed ball on spot, took one step, pace n direction of ball would of been perfect if not for the height, for a minute there i thought i was playing rugby, first to admit greedy moment, even if not Phils should of been Brad or Jon, sorry lads.,lol.!! Then its that guy, little brother Bradley, after a few game goal drought of his own, shows why he should play upfront with Mark n poaches his Hat-trick n Baths 7th, great link up play with Curt n Jay, then Mark n Jon, which resulted in Jonno again being in box slightly to right with opportunity to shoot, he tries to roll it to far post, where im pretty sure if this one was going in, defender would of got there, till Brad pops up infront of him to burie it home for 7-1, well done lil bro.!! Then it was the poachers turn to become assister to his big brother, Mark, who finally did get his hat-trick too, Jon,Curt n Jay played a few nice passes then Jon saw the space n came firing down right flank, passed to Brad on edge of aggers box, who rolled a lovely lay-off, past one defender to Mark who was just to left who came back n had a lovely in-swinging shot, from about just left to penalty spot n nut-megged keeper to make it 8-1, as he ran back he looked at team-mates n said for Nate init thats why there keep coming boys my yout deserves to say Daddy bangs them in yanoo.! lol. Then finally it came with only a couple minutes remaining it wouldnt of been right if he didnt, after getting awarded man of match n playing like a true captain today, after the amount of times he got pushed out wide, it looked like it wasnt to be, then Jonno got his. It was a great move from back between Jay n debutant Josh Haley to set him free, he took on the whole agger team n shot just wide, the keeper swiftly re-started not anticipating that Josh was quick enough to beat his man to ball n roll it onto Mark, who was in a what has become rare but oh so familiar centre mid attacking position, he looked up, Jay to right calling for ball, Brad to left screaming for ball, Jon still forward, strikers position two defenders tracking, or trying to. Mark moves forward to draw the defenders towards him, it works they come, Mark plays a inch perfect pass to Jonno, all he had to do was get something,anything on it, he did, just a slight touch to send ball under keeper n make it 9-0.!! Well done everyone special shout to the kids, Brad back on scoring form, Jay adapting n making it look easy, Curt great game, always down for the cause and Josh new boy gotta add n tag him, had a couple shots was unlucky not to join in on scoring but covered in defence well n made some great tackles.!! Stoke titty were coming........ the worle cup is ours, it has to be........ crystal meth palace this week boys, we ready>??? Oh yeah it will be our last worle season even if we finish 2nd as were in writhlington monday league, just waiting on e-mail back to see when it starts.!!!!
