Thursday 15th August, Well Candy has karate kicked this illness today, i have noticed over the last couple of days that the tremors were lessening, either worse in a morning and fading as the day went on or the other way round, well today she has gone for a few hrs without any tremors at all (YAHOO) when they have been there it has only been very faint on her shoulder muscles (what shoulder muscle she has) This little princess is definately heading in the right direction, im to frightened to get to excited, but im buzzing inside, no dropping our guard, and carry on as we are, were definately more in control, it has been so nice watching her and seeing my baby rather than watching her body tremoring. Candy has had a better day today, she has been out grazing more today, even taking herself for a walk down to the bottom of her paddock, a couple of times, and another huge step, some folk might not approve but, with all of my gang i have taught them to enjoy having there bottoms scratched, so you can be stood stroking a head 1 minute and then they will spin on the spot and you have a bottom to scratch, well for the 1st time in 6 wks Candy spun on the spot and asked me to scratch her bottom, of cause i did as i was told ;), it is even more amazing, because for the last 5 wks i have been sticking a pipe up her bum numerous times a day, she still trusts and wants me to scratch that bum, she is a darling. She is still sleeping alot and she is still on about half an hr up then 1hr or more sleeping but her sparkle was back today, her whinneys were back, and she was back to showing full interest in what was going on around her, she hasnt asked to go out with Faith or go for a walk, but she has definately been better today. Her food intake has been; 20 scoops of Readigrass at least, i have had to give her a bigger bucket so i can keep up with her 3 scoops of soaked Pony nuts she has gone off the sugar beet 3 scoops of Carrots she hasnt been eating them with as much passion as she has been doing. 1 scoop of Apples 10 Custard Creams Her fluid intake has been; 30 ltrs of Herbal Tea/Water 5 bags of water She has done 2 propa poohs today and the rest have been semi projectile/semi formed, she has done 6 all together and her pee`s are just perfect. Candy did have some visitors today but she was laid down, she did look up and say hi, but she wasnt for getting up. She has had no sweating again and she was a normal temp to touch, she hasnt contorted her jaw as much today, she hasnt done the elephant stance much either today. So Candy is finishing today very positively she has karate kicked this illness today, bless her, another day nearer :)
