Thursday, 18 September 2014 OBEDIENCE WITHOUT QUESTIONING OVERVIEW SCRIPTURE: Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy fathers house, unto a land that I will shew thee: So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him… Gen. 12:1, 4 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Covenant means obedience without questioning; doing the will of God without argument. Covenant is a strong binding relationship between God and man. It is not a relationship like marriage of ‘for better for worse’, or ‘till death do us part’. One of the characteristics of covenant with God is total submission and absolute obedience to the will of God. Anybody arguing with the Word of God is not in a covenant relationship with God. Covenant means obedience without questioning; doing the will of God without argument. God told Abraham to come out of his father’s land and he obeyed. That is what covenant means. That is the kind of covenant that delivers you from your enemies. That is the kind of covenant that provokes judgmental fire on the enemy when necessary. When was the last time you obeyed God and did what He wanted you to do? For so many people, disobedience is the reason why the devil is reigning and ruling in their lives. Disobedience to God will open the door for the enemy to attack. A life of sin, compromise, and no surrender to God will open the door for the enemy to attack. And I believe today, that the covenant relationship that you have with God is going to take you to a place where God will fight on your behalf, in Jesus’ Name. Remember this: covenant means obedience without questioning; doing the will of God without argument. ASSIGNMENT (S): 1. Always do what God asks you to do without analysing it first. 2.
