Thursday, August 8th is the 43rd anniversary of the Penn Cove orca capture in which Lolita/Tokitae was taken. Orca Network will do our annual sail of the orca capture site on Penn Cove thanks to Capt. John Stone and the Cutty Sark. We only have one or two spaces left for this sail (@$50 ea), but there is a chance we may be able to have the Hawaiian Chieftan tall ship join us for the sail to the capture site, and the ceremony to remember all the orcas captured and killed in the captures, or in the tanks they were brought to - Lolita/Tokitae is the only survivor. We only have a few days, so are interested in knowing how many of you out there would be interested in joining us if we are able to get the Hawaiian Chieftan to join us in the afternoon sail (~3 - 4:30 pm) on Thursday.
