Thursday July 31, 2014 - Transplant Prep Day 4 Good evening to you all. Hope everyone is doing well. Only one radiation treatment left, YAHOO!! Counts are still good. Last radiation treatment tomorrow morning. Mega Chemo will be one day on Saturday for like 12 hours which will bottom him out and he will have off on Sunday and Transplant on Monday. However, the surgeon will be removing the lump from his leg tomorrow and the outcome of this surgery could set everything back but this will not be known until they take off the lump and see what it is. So the plan is last radiation treatment and lump surgery tomorrow with pathology on the lump to see what it is and we go from there. if everything looks OK on the lump and it turns out not to be an infection, we will continue on to Mega Chemo on Saturday for transplant on Monday. We want to send out a special prayer to Richard Thompson who was diagnosed with Leukemia about two weeks ago and his Drs are having a hard time getting his counts stabilized. Richard, we send our prayers and thoughts to you and your family. Mommy and Sisters are home tonight and all are settled down for the night. Peyton made a new friend with the little girl next door.
