Thursday, July 31, 2014 Sales Officer Job at Standard Chartered Zambia Job Description Key Responsibilities •Responsible for sourcing and booking new business on both CASA and PL products. •Responsible for assisting customers to fill in applications and explaining product offerings in depth. •Submission of CASA & PL application forms from customers for onward submission to the Team Leader New Business for final scrutiny and submission for further processing at the relevant units. •Actively review and monitor competitor products to ensure competitive edge •Compiling all daily sales activities including sales drives in a prescribed tracker for onward submission to the Team Leader New Business on a daily basis. •Monitor customer complaints and log them in the prescribed format and refer them to the Team Leader New Business for onward escalation to the Sales Manager and log them on LMS. •Attend weekly sales meetings and any arranged meetings. •Attend monthly performance reviews conducted by Team Leaders. •Responsible for attending morning hurdles on a daily basis to give insight of previous day work and focus of the day. •Ensure to achieve all KPIs on each given score card by the business unit. •Maintain healthy relations with all New Business Team with view to harmonize work flows and quality of service. •Fully comply with all policies and procedures and KCS to achieve satisfactory audit grades in local & Group audits. •Ensure you remain alert to the risk of money laundering and assist in the Bank’s efforts in combating it by adhering to the key principles in relation to: identifying your customer, knowing your customer, reporting suspicions, safeguarding records and not disclosing suspicions to customers.
