Thursday March 13, 2014 Divine Victory II Peter 1:4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. We can be partakers of the divine nature of God. God has opened up a pathway to victory. Every Christian has the same opportunity. Complete victory over any and all temptation. “No weapon formed against us shall prosper.” None. This is a choice that we get to make. Likewise, we can choose corruption. We can follow the pathway of sin and defeat, giving into lust, depending upon ourselves to overcome. Time to be real. If the latter had worked to begin with, we would not need God. Our strength, wisdom, and way has failed to many times to count. Let us therefore, claim the promises of God, embrace His love, and become partakers of the Divine. Let Christ live through our hearts, mind, and body.
