Thursday Morning Video: Heres a nice video of a long-line rescue being performed mid-cliff in Banff National Park. Long-line refers to a helicopter rescue where the patient and rescuer are attached to the belly(bottom) of the helicopter with 100-200 feet of large diameter rope. This is an efficient way to extricate patients who would be very challenging to move to an area where a helicopter might land for an evacuation. Thanks for the footage, Banff! https://youtube/watch?v=I7_4n_4Qhu4
