Thursday Nov 21 is the National Cancer Societies annual Great American Smokeout. 27 years ago this happened to be on Nov 20th, my birthday. I decided to give myself a birthday present of not smoking for just one day. I have not had a cigarette since. If you do smoke, and I hope you dont, at least go one day without smoking. If successful, then you try for another day. It is just one day at a time and there is a lot of support availble to help you stay smoke free. If your willing to try Im willing to help, just let me know. I couldnt have done this by myself, but it can be accomplished.
