Thursday October 23rd: Good morning... the low pressure system - TopicsExpress

Thursday October 23rd: Good morning... the low pressure system offshore responsible for the rain will begin to pull away today, and that means rain will be less of the headline, and the wind will be more of it. Occasional light showers today are expected for mainly eastern and northeastern sections of our EPAWA coverage area, and better chance of that happening earlier rather than later. The bigger story will be the wind, which with a tight pressure gradient between this system offshore and high pressure to our west, winds could gust as high as 40mph today. The full forecasts for today through early next week for your area are available at the local forecasts link below this post, and the daily forecast video discusses in detail the systems affecting our weather in the same time frame. Join the thousands of subscribers who rely on our text/email alerts in the EPAWA exclusive My Pocket Meteorologist program...get specific alerts for any significant weather sent directly to you in advance of any threatening weather specific to your county that you live.
