Thursday, October 9: You have redeemed Dane and summoned him by name. He is Yours. I rejoice in your promise that when Dane passes through the waters, You are with him. When he passes through the rivers, they will not sweep over him. And when he walks through fire, he will not be burned. (Isaiah 43:1-2) This is a prayer I prayed for Dane as borrowed from Fern Nichols, author of Every Child needs a Praying Mom. It is true. God has been our ever present help, our Deliverer. Tonight, Diran sent me some video of Dane as he roped and practiced tying at Gary Ledford’s. I am humbled by the sheer magnitude of how much he has improved. Dane has indeed walked through the fire, as an 11 year old, and he was not burned. God is faithful God is powerful. Thank you Lord, Thank you thank you. It is such a gut deep gratitude that I cannot even express it. Overwhelming…… So tonight I share with you the videos of a boy who 20 weeks ago suffered an unimaginable accident. So again, I implore you to see that our God is big – our real help in this world. Glory to God……….Sunday’s coming………..
