Thursday Prayer Program Topic: Deliverance From Evil Encampment. Texts: 1 Samuel 11 vs 1-4. 2 Chronicles 20 vs 1-30. Colossians 1 vs 13. Confessions: All nations compassed me about; but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about : but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them. Amen. Exhortation: The account of the invasion and encampment of Jabeshgilead by Nahash, king of the Ammonites, given in 1 Samuel 11 vs 1-4, is chilling. According to the Bible: Then Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped against Jabeshgilead: and all the men of Jabesh said unto Nahash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee. And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach upon all Isreal. And the elders of Jabesh said unto him, Give us seven days respite, that we may send messengers unto all the coasts of Isreal; and then, if there be no man to save us, we will come out to thee. Then came the messengers to Gibeah of Saul, and told the tidings in the ears of the people: and all the people lifted up their voices, and wept. The people of Jabeshgilead are Isrealites and Nahash, king of the Ammonites, together with his people, are maximum enemies who were prepared to do any evil against the people of God. Imagine an enemy who wanted his victims right eyes for a covenant! He said he wanted to lay them up for a reproach and the initial response of the victims was to weep. Encampment is worse than bewitchment: how? An encamped soul is walled in all directions but a bewitched soul can still make use of some space for a fight back. The people of Jabesh lost all hopes but God raised Saul to come to their aid. Such a help will locate you in Jesus name. Enemies are vicious and atrocious. All the curses of God are upon the enemy. An important safeguard against defeat and desolation in life, is never to be an enemy. You can be anything, but never be an enemy because God has permanent violence against the enemy. Encampment is real and it is everywhere: a man that is rejected by his wife and children and lost his job at the same time is encamped. A non-performing health and empty finances speak of encampment. Every ring of trouble and battle around any soul is encampment. A nothing- is -working situation is encampment. Encampment is at work any time enemies are able to form a quorum against any soul. Though encampment is dreadful, God is easily moved into such a situation because God is a God of the oppressed. Encampment is a daring move of darkness but the final move will always come from God. How will it come? It will come by your prayers. Pray yourself out of it. Let it be hot, liquid prayers. Prophecies are very good but prayers are superior to them. The praying side is usually the winning side. Faith is another weapon against encampment. Dont lose your heart. Those fighting you are only fighting your God. Beloved, firm up your devotion to God. There will always be battles but every child of God is ahead of any battle. You are not fighting for victory: you are fighting in victory! God has already redeemed you and delivered you from the powers of darkness. Praise God all the time because you can never be strong enough, on your own, to defeat the enemy. Your praise is your two-edged sword( Psalm 149 vs 6); it is your offering against suffering and your magnet of divine visitation. As you employ all these, together with the living words of the Lord, the siege will be broken and the camp of the enemy will go up in flames in Jesus name. Every evil calculation against your expectations shall be scattered in Jesus name. God will break through every evil encampment and fulfill His plans of escape for you in Jesusname. Amen. Shalom. By your power Lord, appear in the midst of my encampment and set me free forever in Jesus name. 3. Power of financial encampment, break in Jesus name. 4. Forces of marital encampment, fail in Jesus name. 5. Father, destroy every amalgamation of hostility against my glory in Jesus name. 6. Lord, nullify covenant of oppression and wickedness made against my peace in Jesus name. 7. Holy Ghost, locate the vanguard of battles against me and destroy him utterly in Jesus name. 8. Teach me the formula of irreversible victory in Jesus name. 9. Lord, dip my feet in the oil of favour and valour in Jesus name. 10. Evil detention of my health, break in Jesus name. 11. Lord, nullify evil quorum against my progress in Jesus name. 12. Holy Ghost, sentence my unrepentant troublers to lifetime paralysis in Jesus name. 13. Create a need in high places which my competence alone can meet in Jesus name. 14. I shall inherit the throne of glory in Jesus name. 15. Lord, by your blood, wipe away every scar of failure and error upon my life in Jesus name. 16. I receive divine injection of sudden success in Jesus name. 17. Power of satanic ultimatum, crash in Jesus name. 18. I receive grace to eat from the table of choice blessings in Jesus name. 19. Lord, walk through Life and Family and uproot plantation of the wicked one in Jesus name. 20. Father of glory, make my life a reference of your preference in Jesus name, 21.
