Thursday September 19th Thursday provides another 18 holes, some soccer action and one more tough trip for volleyball. Home GOLF (1-5) finishes up its action for the week with a visit from Carey Division opponent Weymouth (1-1). Senior Charlie Goldberg, a captain, will look to finish off the week with another strong round after leading his team with scores of 34 and 36 in their previous two matches. First tee at 3:45 PM at Brae Burn Cross Country Club. BOY’S SOCCER (2-3) takes on a Weymouth (0-2-2) side which is winless and last place in the Carey Division. The free-scoring Tiger offense - the team has already put five goals past opposing keepers on two occasions - will have to solve senior goalie Lucas Rezende-Verge, one of the best in the Bay State Conference. Kick-off at 3:45 PM at Dickinson Stadium. Away GIRL’S SOCCER (4-0) brings a potent offense (3.3 GF/G) and a miserly defense (0.5 GA/G) on the road to face Weymouth (2-1). The Wildcats have yet to lose at home. Kick-off at 3:45 PM at Weymouth High School. GIRL’S VOLLEYBALL (5-0) closes out a tough week with its third match in a row, a trip to undefeated Weymouth (5-0). The Tigers can help alleviate the three team log jam at the top of the Carey Division with a win over the Wildcats. The match starts at 4:00 PM at Weymouth High School.
