Thursday nights ratings (scan towards bottom) and observations: -On The CW The Vampire Diaries secured the highest rating of the week (a good week for The CW) and Reign actually saw a 17% increase showing that the program probably deserved its full season order. The little show that could even beat the more typical (now) CW fare, The Tomorrow People. -On Fox The X Factor was just a click above last weeks series low and Glee has hit a new series low of a 1.4 demo rating. Does Fox have buyers remorse for ordering two seasons rather than just one last year? -Things were stable on ABC in the sense that Once Upon a Time in Wonderland continued with horrible ratings as series low levels. Greys was down 4% (actually tying a series low for the show) while the now stronger Scandal was up 4%. -On CBS everything was stable with their successful Thursday night sitcoms (at least compared to NBC!!!!). The Big Bang Theory is a beast and certainly helps the new series The Millers. The Crazy Ones is not getting the ratings the cost of a Robin William series probably warrants. Speaking of high cost for the ratings it gets, hello Two and a Half Men and Ashtons $700,000 per episode salary. -The Michael J. Fox Show and Sean Saves the World have both hit series lows and are now getting below a 1.0 in demo ratings. Sean Saves the World in particular was down by 36% after being lifted last week by an extra broadcast of The Voice. Park and Recreation is doing double duty for a couple of weeks until holiday hiatus is done, when Community returns to the Thursday night lineup at 8pm. Essentially a cult series, Community (like Parks) is just NBCs sacrificial lamb against the monster that is The Big Bang Theory. They are merely just adding in episodes for their respective syndication packages. Por Parenthood has not done well following these comedies, At this point my guess is after it finished its longest season in the past couple of years, this year the show will be ending with a syndication ready package of 90 episodes. I would not rule out NBC giving it a possible goodbye half season like they did most recently with 30 Rock and Chuck. The ratings numbers for Wednesday November 14th. -The first number is the 18-49 rating (sort of a %). -The second number is approx. # of viewers 18-49. -The third number is total viewers of all ages -R=repeat 8:00 CBS The Big Bang Theory=5.2/ 6.6 million / 18.30 million FOX The X Factor=1.3/ 1.7 million / 5.18 million CW The Vampire Diaries=1.3/ 1.7 million / 2.72 million NBC Parks and Recreation=1.1/ million / 1.4 3.03 million ABC Once Upon A Time in Wonderland=0.9/ 1.1 million / 3.73 million 8:30 CBS The Millers=2.6/ 3.3 million / 11.08 million 9:00 ABC Greys Anatomy =2.6/ 3.3 million / 8.56 million CBS The Crazy Ones =2.1/ 2.7 million / 8.59 million FOX Glee =1.4/ 1.8 million / 4.22 million NBC Sean Saves the World=0.9/ 1.1 million / 2.64 million CW Reign=0.7/889,000 / 1.69 million 9:30 CBS Two and a Half Men=2.1/ 2.7 million / 8.66 million NBC The Michael J.
