Thus says the Lord who made and formed you from the womb, who will help you: Fear not! Father I was reading this verse this morning and was curious as to how many times You speak to our hearts those two words fear not? Because we are pilgrims in this world, here today and gone tomorrow we really are subject to fear. We fear everything, we fear today, tomorrow, next week, we fear unpaid bills, unsaid words, doctors reports, world unrest, is it any wonder You must tell us fear not. We humans need to rest in You more to be still and know that You are God and not to wait until tragedy arrives to run and knock on Your door. You who pour out water on the thirsty and floods on the dry ground, You who formed man from the dust of the earth and stretch the rainbow across the sky after a rainstorm, You know each one of us by our first names and care enough to soothe us with those two words fear not. If You are for us, who can be against us, no one can. Thank You for the many times in all of our lives (whether we have acknowledged it or not) that You have intervened and whispered to our hearts....dont be afraid, trust me Ive got this! Jax has learned to trust You through his ordeal, and his loved ones have too, in my years of living for You I have learned that faith must be tested to hold up. I praise You Lord for the work You are doing in little Jaxie and his family and in all of us who come here to pray for him and check on updates. Thank You for each triumph he has because we all join in to celebrate with him. Lord there is none like You, the only God, the Great I Am and I bow in Your presence and in the presence of these witnesses today, bowing my heart to You, to Your will And to Your way. O Glorious God help us all to learn from watching little Jaxies determination that there truly is nothing impossible for You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
