Thyroid #1 Pharmaceutical sold in the US is Synthroid....a medication used in the medical world for thyroid help. Its not effective, but the point is that this fact SCREAMS to anyone who really pays attention to health, that the US is in an epidemic of thyroid problems. So whats the bottom line cause? Lack of iodine in our diet. Iodine is the mineral that the thyroid requires in order to make its hormones, which in turn run the energy production of every cell in the body.
