***Tickets*** Is a GIRL!!!!! Not a boy. Although she was previously loved (make no doubt about that), this dog is a welfare case & her health has been severally neglected through ignorance. Yes, its sad that her owners have now given her up. Yes, its sad that they werent able to give the medical attention to this dog. But my focus is with the dog. I neither have the time nor care for a person Ive never met. For this dog to be taken home for the night by a staff member from pound. For this dog to be released to rescue under Duty of Care. For my vets to shake their heads in utter despair at her condition. For me to fight for her in order to keep her in my care - means one thing. We do not like what we see. However good intentioned people are - a certain level of care should be upheld. Her skin condition is vile. Antibiotics / maleseb baths / good food / a nurturing environment is ALL this dog needs. She has a SEVERE ear infection & is now on extremely strong medication twice a day. Her mouth is festering with rotten teeth which are covered in disgusting hair & gum disease is rife throughout. Her body STINKS. I dont even want to bring her into my living room as the aroma is so nauseating. Her scabs all over the body mean she sheds flaky skin everywhere. In time she will be beautiful & clean & healthy once again.
