Tickets are LIVE! On Sunday, September 21st, 2014 Il Buco Restaurant will celebrate its 20th anniversary by hosting a Sagra del Maiale, an outdoor pig festival commemorating the autumn equinox. This festival will take place outside Il Buco Restaurant from 1pm - 6pm, rain or shine! Renowned Argentine chef Francis Mallman, an expert at cooking with fire, will join Il Bucos chef Joel Hough to roast 300 pound heritage pigs infiernillo style. The roast will feature heritage pork from Flying Pigs Farm prepared three different ways: roast pork, porchetta panino and housemade pork apple and peperoncino sausage. The feast will also include pasta genovese, farmers market panzanella salad and apple ricotta fritters with saba. Tickets are $25 a plate or $32 with a glass of prosecco, lambrusco, wine or a seasonal beer. We will also be offering a $12 childrens plate that includes a beverage.
