Tidbits that have been floating around in my head... Scary I know... But think about them. 1. The Internet is one of the greatest providers of unity and division on the planet. 2. Greed is the driving force for most things people do today. 3. You are guilty until proven innocent. 4. Fear of change is greater than the drive to change. 5. People had rather see you fail than succeed. 6. Everyone is looking for their 15 minutes of fame rather than work for success. 6. Doing whats right is too hard. 7. Ignoring a problem is easier than solving one. 8. Trials are held in court not in the court of opinion. 9. Hate is a learned behavior and can be self taught. 10. Money talks... But it only says what those that have it want it to. I could go on and on.... But what would be the use? People today seek instant gratification and once they have it are not happy and wonder why. Its because you didnt work to get it. You were given it. Thats why you dont know what it took to get there. Sadly my generation was the beginning of the slide. I see that now. We didnt want to see our kids have to go through the trials we did. So we gave everything to them. Now our children give theirs everything and they still want more. They dont want to work for it. They expect it. We have created a society of the entitled. Gimme gimme gimme. I see on so many posts from people about how they yearn for how it used to be..... Yeah me too. Guess what...we have changed this society into one of the most morally bankrupt ones on the planet. There is no personal accountability, no sense of pride in a job well done, no sense of connection. Doubt me? Look around you, its there... All around you. You just dont see it because you are too consumed by your digital age to see it passing by. Technologically we are light years from where we were... Societally we are as retarded. No one talks anymore. No one cares for others. Its all about me or what do I get out of it. Greed and avarice are so commonplace no one even questions it any more. It has worked its way into the very fabric of our being. The saying dont hate the player hate the game I cannot stand. That is exactly the mentality of the loser society we have. I hate both the player and the game. Why you ask? because neither advance your fellow man. That mentality only perpetuates everything wrong with society. Its because people have been played by the game and they are just too stupid to see that. Ok off my pedestal. Sermon over.
