Tifton, GA Attorney and Methodist Minister, Betty Walker Lanier, has passed away from a long battle with diabetes. A few weeks ago, her son, Brandon, was hit by a car and died a few days later from injuries to the head. Her son, Cal, is blind and is a partial amputee because of diabetes. Betty and Brandon are now gone and Cal is left now on his own. I am concerned for Cal and ask that you pray for him. I do not know if Cals dad is dead or alive but either way, life will be difficult for Cal. Before Cal became blind, he was an aspiring artist. I have a print of one of his paintings proudly hanging in my home. Cal would never sell his originals. I know that no one gets out of this world without trials and tribulations but it does seem that Betty had more than most. We dont understand but God does so we will turn it over to Him. Rest in peace, Betty and Brandon, and to Cal, my Faith, Hope, and Love surround you as you begin a new kind of life without your family.
