Tig-le Update 20.11.2014 Hi there friends of Tig-le, Here is the latest update of the classes, workshops and other sessions happening over the next few weeks. We will be closed for teacher retreat (lucky teacher) from Sunday 23rd November to Monday the 1st December. Wishing everyone well. Introduction to Mindfulness - Saturday 22nd November - 9.30am to 11.30am @ Milligan Centre, Bunbury A great beginning to the practice of mindfulness and how we can work to deepen our capacity for calm develop self-compassionate behaviour and learn some helping tools. Bookings required through Milligan Centre Phone: 97218944, email: [email protected] Mindfulness Continuing Class – Saturday 22nd November - 1pm to 2pm @ Milligan Centre, Bunbury These classes are for those whom are familiar with mindful practice and wish to develop their understanding. Practicing mindfulness together has real benefits and builds supportive friendships and community. When we do it is a real joy. Bookings required through Milligan Centre Phone: 97218944, email: [email protected] Puja - Sunday 14th December – 8.30am to 9.30am @Tig-le House, Margaret River Puja is a form of Buddhadharma prayer and offering from translations of ancient texts. They are rich in language and meaning supporting discussion and contemplation. Puja is suitable for all interests and helps to deepen understanding and in the cultivation of a compassionate mind. Cost is by a suggested donation of $5-$10. Anapanasati workshop - Sunday 14th December – 9.30am to 12o’clock @Tig-le House, Margaret River Anapanasati is the technique and practice of mindful breathing, bringing our awareness to the breathing body in the development of a deeper calm, quietude and stability. Bookings welcomed. Cost is by a suggested donation of $25-$50. Peace pagoda celebration day - Saturday 6th December @Origins Centre, Balingup Come and join us as we celebrate the anniversary of the beautiful peace pagoda. It is a unique gem, one of only five built in this tradition outside of Burma.
