Till date it was a day of celebration and everyone’s wishes were warmly responded to. There was wine and rum and all great friends… life was great until this funny number came by. I am a firm believer in change and put up a good fight to stay abreast. With a few I feel good and correct my views and a few I do not. But suddenly I have a few thrust on me that I do not have any answers. There is this list that has become a part of me in the last few hours of growing a day older. I realize there is a lot more to come and the few that beats simple logic are listed. I am wanting the learned many who have crossed the post earlier to add to the knowledge base • Some products are restricted to post sunset and the tolerated dosages get smaller. • You are back home when it is bed time from where ever • The medicines have higher mg and do nothing • What was healthy then is seldom in the menu. • Vegetables dished out are focused on increasing efficiency of organs. • Cold water becomes susum pani. • Packing gets easier since there are just shades of white blue and grey. • Formal clothing is a dhoti and a half sleeve slack with a chapels • Days in the week have suddenly become holy.Its either fasting or a fruit and milk menu • The barber acts like a consultant charges you the same for lesser time spent • Default font size in any mail document is 14 • You suddenly get a dirty stare when you are a bit late to get off in a signal. • The worst is when my colleague called me and even before he wished me checked if I could hear him !!!!!! Yes there are the odd advantages • You stop kneeling or standing and get to sit in a group photo • The black and white snap has a new shade of grey and you have not paid for the additional color. When the “who is who” in this world can be victims of conspiracy and come out clean I am sure to beat the odds. Its my son who walked up and said. You reached 50 before Tendulkar. Yes !!! it made my day and made me realize how complicated I have made this number sound. Time for some good old mood elevators whatever be the dosage.
