Tilly (the all-black dog) was rescued from an alleged fighting ring in Alabama and taken into foster with Bama Bully Rescue. We dont think she was ever used for fighting (she doesnt have the right personality) but was definitely bred. Shes shy and afraid of people but really great with other dogs. Im babysitting her again for the weekend while her foster parents go out of town, and as usual -- she and my Gypsy Kale (the tri-color) are super-excited to see each other. Heres hoping that another few days here will help her come out of her shell a bit more. Gypsy Kale has a superpower, she makes other dogs immediately feel at ease and after Tilly went home the last time, she was a lot more open and bold. *crosses fingers* Ill try not to spam the group with pics and videos....but having Tilly here after doing her initial evaluation and seeing a dog so shutdown we thought wed never be able to place her ... Im pretty proud of how far shes come. :)
