Tim is having a procedure on Monday and will be out of work for a period of time. His work has requested a letter from the doctors office with general date info as to when he will be cleared to return to duty, so basically a simple form letter. We called today to request the it and they informed us that there is a $20.00 charge for the letter!!!! Really?!?!? She assured me that this is customary. Really?!?!? Has anyone else heard of this? I am floored!!! I know its only $20.00, but how can they justify that charge for a letter???
