(Tim stood up and spake thusly) The only things that the ER can do for a kidney stone is to 1) say yup you got a stone and 2) give you massive amounts of painkillers, cause its very very painful. And NOT in that order. So why did I have to wait 2 hours after admission to get pain meds? (Note, this is every ER in the nation in the era of ObamaCare.) The pain was almost as bad as the moment they set my broken leg years ago. I cannot even contemplate a situation where I cant get to the ER quickly! Why not do the reasonable thing and the cheap thing (visit probably cost over $5000) and just buy the same meds via black market in advance for just such occasions, stay home and call the urologist in the morning??? If they have medical marijuna laws when the stuff is illegal, why cant I keep some real medical stuff illegally for just such occasions?
