As qualified wood technologists with close industry links, The Wood Shop Consultancy has both the technical and practical expertise to advise on the correct specification and use of timber and wood products. As such, we are regularly called upon to examine wood products to assess their performance, fitness for purpose or cause of failure. Timber Condition Surveys The Wood Shop Consultancy is also experienced in providing condition survey reports to satisfy the requirements of Building Control, NHBC etc. Over the years, our consultants have been involved in surveying a number of prestigious developments, including The Guardian Royal Exchange, London; Woolwich Arsenal; Regents Park (London Zoo and surrounding Regency properties); Natural History Museum; Gloucester Docks; Queen’s Hotel, Hastings; and the Judicial Buildings of the South West Circuit (Bristol, Exeter, Taunton etc).
