Timber! I cut down 4 big trees. I was careful not to let them hit the house, the cars, or me. I watched out for the obvious stuff. Scratch, Scratch. I was not careful with the little vines growing up the sides. Now, poison ivy has me in its clutches. A vicious plant that shows no mercy. Itch, Itch. Just a touch on the side of my arm and I am investing in caladryl, Benadryl, calamine, and hydrocortisone without relief. It covers both hands, forearms, chest, and neck. I should have known better! A visit to the doctor and a shot. Relief, sweet relief! I feel like singing! “Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” (1 Timothy 4:16 NIV) There are no little things.
