Time ------- Do you say, ‘Time is an arrow?’ What metaphor is this? If Time is an arrow The moment at its tip, And the moment at the tail-end, Will they ever meet? Or Is it that These two moments Are absolutely still Relative to each other Cursed in a bond Never meeting? But perhaps This is a wrong metaphor. Maybe, Time’s one-directional move Is just one first moment Extended to infinity, A moment that begins But never ends! Or is it a play with an unknown ending? What play is this? For whose benefit? If everyone is an actor Who is its playwright? What cosmic nonentity wrote this play Does it know its meaning? --------------------------
