Time for a Rushmore of Superhero Movies question. Usually I limit these to sports, but I entertained myself thoroughly yesterday thinking out loud about this whilst driving around for Black Friday (even Melissa contributed, despite my fears I might literally bore her to death with my nerdiness). And this is a two-part Rushmore edition to include heroes AND villains. Okay here goes; who are your four choices for best and most iconic superheroes and the actors who portrayed them (then apply to villains)? This isnt a discussion about who you think the four greatest superheroes are. This is about who you think has had the best portrayal of a hero or villain to the point where you identify the actor with the role, e.g., as far as Im concerned there will only be one Superman, and thats Christopher Reeve. Here are my four for each. Lets have some dorky Saturday fun! Heroes: 1) Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent/Superman 2) Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman 3) Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man 4) Hugh Jackman as Wolverine Villains: 1) Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor 2) Heath Ledger as Joker 3) Ian McKellen as Magneto 4) Tom Hiddleston as Loki And here ...
