Time for a poem about Fall-Can you feel it? FINDING FALL Now, fall approaches empty handed, blunted by summers heated hold, settling hidden in a night’s silence and encroaching delicate dew... Now, fall presses in lightly... taking my heart a captive, and I sense the delicate touch, in the wind that rides the hills and come to know this intent as my own... and prepare a passage.. I clear the red crispened leaves from the spread of the apple tree whose withering stock leans long past the answer of summer’s call... whose laden broach stands broad to the fetch of a late and windy dawn. I stand with a curious sniff to sense the thick of your call and prepare your way, even before the summer has died.... Then alone, one cold night I found you... and I knew you were there. It was in the air, and the tainted colors of the horizon... A grand overture to the arrival of your winter sun..
