Time for a rant... Dion came home from school his first week - TopicsExpress

Time for a rant... Dion came home from school his first week and said the police came to his class and told the children that they catch bandits. That they are the good guys. For one, I was not happy that I did not get notified that they will be coming to his classroom. That way their badges arent forced down his throat, just as religion is not allowed in schools. I wouldve removed him from class for that time period that they were spilling lies into the ears of my child. I told him, if they ever come again, ask them why they are bullies. Why they abuse power and bully citizens? Maybe you think that I am wrong for saying these things to my child. Thats your right. But I refuse to lie to my child as he grows older. Yes, I used to be a not so great teenage citizen. But there were several instances that I was treated exceptionally unfairly. For one, every time I was arrested, I was never once read my rights, I requested a female to search me (since I was 16 years old) and the male officer denied it and proceeded to pat me down (minor getting felt up by a grown man), I was followed for 8 city blocks and pulled over and the officer literally said I was looking for a reason to pull you over, I had a word put on the front of my car in 2005 that said mesmerize (it was rebuilt, had no as1 line on the windshield but was verified when that it was above it when I put it on) I was pulled over in 2008 and received a fine for having the word on my car and told to take it off (3 years of no problems?) also due to the word being on my car, the officer saw it fit to send a k9 through my vehicle, who they said made a hit after he smacked my car, he searched for 30 minutes found nothing (I was pregnant with Dion btw). Actually everytime I have been pulled over, they have sent a k9 through my vehicle, one other time they smacked my car and the dog supposedly made a hit, they searched and again, found nothing. Funny how they only made a hit when the officer smacked the car. When youre truly in fear for your life, dispatch takes all the info down and then has a officer CALL you. Thanks Im about dead now, but Im glad you called. Tf? Or a friend has you call and ask how they take care of a minor warrant, you call and then you get two squad cars in the front of your house threatening to go into your home. Two big ass tall ass cops, get in your face (mind you Im only 56 and these heroes get in my face. Real tough guys. Bet it makes you a man to get into a females face like that. When my mom slipped into her diabetic blood sugar drops that literally made her unresponsive, we called an ambulance, a police officer would often show up and have the nerve to walk through the rest of my house. Ive watched friends who never resisted get thrown to the ground, face smashed into concrete, and the police are never held accountable. They are not Heros to me. So excuse me if you are offended, but your Heros are not my Heros. And I refuse to let my son think that when hes in trouble he can call them, he can call me and their dad, we are their protectors, we will be there quicker, we will not bully, we are protectors.
